We've hit the 2.5 year mark since TTC.
Still no period.
Which I love and hate at the same time. While it's so nice to finally not be constantly bleeding, cramping, or feeling like crap, I'm like "Why the heck does it all stop now that i'm not taking any meds?!" I kind of figured I'd probably have to have the Dr. start my cycle back up again. I planned on waiting until the first of November since all of our weekends and the last week of October are all filled up with stuff, but the Dr.'s office called today to schedule a follow up appointment on the 20th. We shall see what the next step will be then...
Prayer Request:
Jacob has had acid reflux and some asthma issues for a few years now, but its recently gotten worse. He had a chest x-ray today. We won't know anything until they schedule the appointment with a specialist. He'll tell us the results and Jacob will have to do another lung test there too. Our family doctor suspects it is asthma, but we got a little freaked out when we saw a dark spot on the x-ray. Of course, the technicians don't say anything to you and now our minds are reeling with everything bad that can happen. Im sure it could be anything that shows up on those x-rays and in reality it's probably nothing, but we are still pretty scared. Prayers would be appreciated. Even if it is nothing to worry about, asthma and acid reflux are a lifelong thing that Jacob will have to deal with-- and he's been pretty uncomfortable lately. I'm hoping that this specialist can find a regimen that will help. I'll keep you all updated when we find out when his appointment is.
