Easter Pictures

Since my computer died a few weeks ago I never got to put any of our Easter pictures up! We had a great Easter, weather was good, and the families all got together. Jack sure looks cute dressed in a tie... and he looks so great in blue!

9 Months Old!

9 Months Old

• You finally have two bottom teeth
• You walk along the furniture, pull yourself up on anything and can walk around freely with some support
• You can stand without support
• You bear crawl super fast
• You can take a few steps
• You've had a few "toddler style" meltdowns when I take away something you want
• You are a great sleeper (when you're in your own crib)
• You still take 3 naps a day
• You sleep from about 8:30pm-7:00am
• You're still obsessed with your binky and your bottle
• You drink out of a sippy good now
• You really love blankets
• You can fake laugh now
• You are starting to eat more finger foods
• Still love Baby Einstein
• You love to play with cars and drive them all around
• You are very social and smile at everyone
• You capture everyones attention
• You made your first animal sound this month... a kitty... "meow" :o)
• You make your daddy and I laugh everyday and we both love you SO SO much

My Computer Crashed~ New Posts Coming Soon!

My computer has been out of commission with a bad hard drive the past few weeks which means I have not been able to blog or download pictures. Which has been a bummer since we have a lot of really cute Easter pictures and I feel like I've had SO much to blog about lately.

I'm at my office this morning for a meeting but I have a quick moment to let you all know I'm still here before I head in! Especially for all of my out of town family~ I'll update with pictures as soon as I can!

In the meantime, life has been moving forward too fast. Jack is growing and becoming more independent each day (as if he needs to be more of that!), work has been crazy for all of the family, and we have been spending a lot of our free time making memories with our friends. Fun times but busy times!

Summer is upon us!!!

8 Months Old!

8 Months Old

• You are a super fast crawler and climb/pull yourself up on anything and everything
• You can walk with the assistance of a little walker
• You still dont have any teeth popping through yet
• You are still taking 3 naps a day
• You give kisses and hugs now
• You love to wave bye bye to people at the door and watch them leave out the window
• You are Mr. Social and have to be around people or you will go stir crazy
• Whenever you see kids you crawl towards them or smile at them
• You never sit still
• You still love to watch baby einstein
• We haven't gotten you to take naps at other places very well yet- but you have slept in the pack n play at grandma's a few times
• You started eating level 3 foods and eating the yogurt puffs and cereal
• Your favorite toy to play with are balls
• You are in 9 month clothes
• You are babbling all the time now and say Mama all day long
• You also say bop a lot and blow bubbles with your mouth
• We are working on you saying dada but you just dont want to, even though you have said it before.
• You get so excited when your dad comes home though and love it when we are both on the floor or at the table with you
• We bring you into our bed every morning when you wake up for the day to drink your bottle and hang out with us while we wake up
• You are just too cute and we love you tons little man!

Crazy Boy!

Having a 7 month old is keeping me pretty busy around here! I honestly didn't expect things to be this crazy quite this early but he is one strong and (strong willed) little boy! He is pretty much running all over the place. I mean, he's not "walking" quite yet although he is trying along the furniture. But when he crawls he can crawl super fast!

Jack's latest trick is CLIMBING on things! I did not think I would have to worry about that quite yet either. He spotted something he wanted on top of our fake fireplace and proceeded to climb up two boxes that I had sitting next to it to get to it. I caught him red handed! All of this new exploring is leaded to lots of supervision, lots of "no, no's", and a lot of meltdowns from learning what happens when he exceeds his limits. (aka- bangs on the head mostly!)

I've started to blend some of my own baby food which is nice and definitely saves money.

Jacob has been super busy at work and it doesn't look like it will be slowing down anytime soon. With me only being in the office two days a week for a very small window of time I'm trying to play catch up too. I've been able to do a little work from home but it is definitely harder. Jack has a terrible time sleeping anywhere but his crib now (unless he's in the car) so that is hard for me to get a long stretch of work since he still takes 3 naps a day. I REAALLY need to start working out more often. Not having a regular workout routine since about 6 months preggo = a lot of flab, lossed muscle tone, and zero motivation. As I'm writing this I'm  thinking about how I want Taco Bell (I just did a Jillian Michael's DVD by the way)... my husband just calls and says he's at Dairy Queen.... so much for that workout!! I downloaded the Couch to 5K app on my phone- just waiting for some warmer weather so I can take Jack along with me. I dont like making him be in the cold- his little face always gets snotty and his eyes are watery after our stroller rides! Can I just say that my bladder really took a beating being pregnant? I know... TMI. But seriously- anyone else have that problem?

SOO looking forward to Spring and warmer weather so we can be outside more!!! We've had a few nice days but I want jeans and T-shirt weather!

7 Months Old!

7 Months Old! {Holy Cow!}

• You are crawling all over the place now~ we have had to put up a gate so you dont run down the hall or into the kitchen or ANYWHERE but where you are supposed to be.
• You pull yourself up on everything
• You can climb up the stair in our living room
• You touch everything
• We try and tell you no but you dont really understand yet.
• You do understand when we have the "mad or stern" tone and it makes you cry
• You are seriously stubborn
• You think you are much bigger than you are which makes you mad because you can't do what you want
• You love Duke and he tolerates you for the most part. He likes to be near you but really isnt interested in being pet by you too much unless I'm holding you
• My parents dog Tanner lets you crawl all over him and hug him and you love that
• You chase the cat constantly
• I think you are cutting a tooth- youve been on and off grumpy and had trouble sleeping last night and at the babysitters today
• Man I hope it pops through soon so we can get this over with
• Speaking of sleep- you have been sleeping through the night lately- about 10 hours so when you have a bad night it's torture and I have no idea what is wrong 
• You like to wrestle with your dad
• He can make you laugh pretty hard
• You are clingy to me right now
• You can throw a tantrum with the best of them~ GEEZ kid!
• You're really starting to like your food and have started the "2nd" Foods.
• I sort of feel like I should be making my own baby food instead of giving you the pre made stuff but we'll see. 
• You are such a ham and you make me laugh everyday!
• I love you to the moon and back little man

Well we have been sick on and off here for the better part of this month. Seems like the whole town has been hit with the flu, bronchitis, colds, viruses... it's awful! Jacob had bronchitis at the beginning of the month, then I got a cold, then Jack got a stuffy nose, followed by a rash, and now has a nasty cough and runny/stuffy nose. Poor little guy. Seriously, how long can these viruses hold on?!
 Jack and I are getting cabin fever from being inside so much. He will be in such awe when springtime comes and he can play outside!

Even being sick though he's still been in a relatively good mood. He is such a cutie and we love him so much. He is moving EVERYWHERE and is so fast! He's pulling up on everything and can crawl up our living room step. He thinks he can just take off and walk once he's standing, which has lead to a lot of bumps on the head and traumatizing falls. I was not ready for all of this at only 6 months old! It's going to be seriously insane when he starts walking.
